VALLEY OF THE SUN YOUNG MENS CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION

The Valley of the Sun YMCA has been operating in Arizona since 1892 and is currently an association of fifteen branches serving metropolitan Phoenix, Yuma, and Flagstaff, and a residential camp in Prescott. Our mission is “to build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all” through programs that focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We intentionally implement programs to meet our state's most pressing needs and provide financial assistance for all fee-based programs to ensure equal access. Although we serve individuals for all ages, the Y's name is synonymous with far-reaching, quality youth development programs. These programs, which include youth sports, aquatics, youth development, afterschool childcare, and camps, serve more than 200,000 individuals and families each year from the Phoenix, Yuma, and Flagstaff areas.
